Human8 (previously known as Gongos and InSites Consulting), the human-driven consultancy, announced the appointment of Chris Robson to Senior Director, Global Data Science, who was previously the Senior Director, Data Science, North America.

Chris Robson takes on this newly created role of Senior Director, Global Data Science as the organization continues to align and formalize capabilities as a global organization and expand value creation for clients through our data science and advanced analytics capabilities.

“Human8 has come together from a diverse set of fantastic companies – and within those there are many highly talented individuals and great client offerings,” said Robson. “Data science is a team sport, and I will be making sure that all of our great talent can be working together as part of the global team.”

In this role, Robson will be leading global efforts utilizing a regionally focused structure with the goal of creating strategic global connections to ensure the organization has the right advanced offerings within our portfolio to meet clients' everchanging needs.

Robson started working with the organization as a consultant in 2019 and joined as an employee in 2022. Prior to that, he was co-founder and Principal at Deckchair Data, an Insights and Analytics consultancy. Before founding Deckchair, he was Chief Innovation Officer and Head of Research Science for ORC International, and was Co-Founder of Parametric Marketing, a boutique analytics and methodology consultancy.

Robson has held various senior technical and marketing positions at small and large companies, ranging from being VP Engineering at an analytics start-up to managing a global team of software developers at Hewlett-Packard.

“I am a constant learner, and working closely with such great minds means that we will all learn from each other – including me!” stated Robson. “And that combined with some of the amazing new technologies we are using means that it will be exciting times ahead!”
