The Insights Association invites market researchers, data analysts, and insights leaders to propose sessions for its 2027 Ignite events. Each event brings together a focused community to examine the challenges facing its sector and the methods that help teams meet them. We’re looking for objective, educational presentations grounded in real work. Show attendees what you set out to learn, how you approached the problem, what you found, and what changed as a result. The goal is practical guidance they can take back to their own organizations.
Explain the business question, research design, implementation, lessons learned, and outcome.
Sessions presented or co-presented by brand-side researchers or marketing leaders are especially welcome.
Share decisions, tradeoffs, resources needed, and guidance attendees can apply—not just a high-level success story.
Tell us how the work influenced a decision, improved a process, strengthened stakeholder engagement, or contributed to measurable results.
We welcome approaches to better data quality, sounder interpretation, critical thinking, and a more nuanced understanding of people.
Show how conversations, behavioral knowledge, context, and storytelling helped a team understand or act on findings—including where AI was used and where it had limits.
Proposals should be objective and useful to a broad audience. Sales pitches, product demos, and sessions focused on theory without practical application will not be selected. Agenda space is limited. Proposals will be reviewed and selected by experienced practitioners. The topics below are starting points, not a restrictive list. We welcome other relevant ideas with clear lessons for attendees.
