Smarty Pants market research and strategic consulting firm announced today the recent promotion of two key team members, Danielle Place (pictured left) and Megan Bowling. Place is upped to a director-level “Insights Guru.” Bowling rises to a senior analyst level “Insights Brainiac.”
Place joined Smarty Pants from Forrester in 2018. Prior, she was a senior consultant at C Space. An ambidextrous research practitioner, Place leads multi-method research initiatives for Smarty Pants’ flagship footwear, healthcare, retail, and finance clients. Her promotion reflects her masterful balance of consumer empathy, meticulous project management, keen strategic thinking, and real-world business savvy.
“We are honored to usher Danielle into our senior leadership ranks,” Smarty Pants president Wynne Tyree comments. “Danielle epitomizes well-rounded research leadership. Her methodological expertise, innovative thinking, and dedication to excellence are apparent in everything she does,” adds senior director Anne Knight.
Bowling was added to the Smarty Pants roster in 2022 following seven years at Action Based Research. Her promotion this week from “Research Whiz” to “Insights Brainiac” was earned through her unsurpassed attention to detail, advanced analytics know-how, and expanded in-person qualitative research skillset. Bowling’s contributions have impacted several of Smarty Pants’ largest clients.
“Megan is one of Smarty Pants’ most valuable researchers and a key contributor to qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method projects. She has demonstrated impressive growth in her time at Smarty Pants, and we are excited to see where her unlimited potential takes the organization next,” states Smarty Pants senior director Molly Jackson.
