Luth Research has announced the appointment of Stephen Montgomery as its new Senior Vice President of Research. With over two decades of experience in market research and insights, Montgomery joins Luth Research to spearhead innovative methodologies, drive actionable results, and enhance the company's research capabilities.
Montgomery's career spans various prestigious roles, including his recent tenure at NBCUniversal as Vice President of Consumer & Product Insights. He brings a wealth of expertise in customer experience, product-oriented research, and leadership, demonstrated by
his contributions to iconic brands in the media and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors. Roseanne Luth, CEO of Luth Research, said, “Steve’s 20+ years of experience in the research field will contribute greatly as he works with the research and sales team to oversee research and project management, including the development and implementation of new strategies.”
Montgomery previously played an instrumental role in shaping initiatives for renowned brands such as Peacock, HBO Now, TIME, Kraft/Nabisco and Sports Illustrated. Noteworthy amongst his accomplishments include launching Peacock’s UX/CX insights function, HBO Now’s subscriber tracking initiatives and helping legacy brands like TIME and Sports Illustrated evolve for new platforms.
As Senior Vice President of Research, Montgomery will play a pivotal role in growing Luth Research’s footprint in media, ad momentum and audience/consumer journey insights, as well as continuing to raise the bar on traditional methodologies such as customer satisfaction, segmentation and concept testing.
