Insights Association Honors South Central as ‘Chapter of the Year’

The Insights Association is pleased to announce that the South Central Chapter has been named Chapter of the Year for 2023. Leaders from the Chapter received the award during a dinner celebration at IA’s Annual Conference in Atlanta on April 9.

“Our Chapters play a key role in fulfilling the core tenets of the IA mission – connecting their local members as they inform and inspire them to excel in the profession,” commented Melanie Courtright, CEO of the Insights Association. “We appreciate their considerable efforts and applaud the South Central Chapter for their outstanding efforts this year.”

Added Alice Butler, Senior Vice President at M/A/R/C Research and IA Board Secretary and IA Chapter Committee Chair, “The South Central Chapter’s dedication to bringing the community together in a way that encouraged relationships, inspired ideas from new perspectives, and energized positive action, positions the Chapter for continued success and growth in the years to come.”

Highlights of the Chapters accomplishments in 2023 include:

Hosted 13 events across six metro areas attracting more than 425 attendees.
Added over 500 new social media followers across LinkedIn and Instagram.
‘We’re in Research, Too’ podcast is listed as “Top 50% of all Podcasts” by the podcast hosting site, Buzzsprout, with over 434 downloads played in 6 countries.
Expanded its partnership with the University of Texas at Arlington’s MSMR program to provide additional opportunities to connect young professionals with established industry professionals.
Raised $2,000+ in donations for the World Literacy Foundation.
Introduced conference attendees to a new registration platform, RegFox, and shared their learnings with the other IA Chapters.
