Rival Technologies and Reach3 Appoint New Board Members, Group CMO

Vancouver-based Rival Technologies and Reach3 Insights, leaders in conversational research and mobile-first engagement announced the appointment of new Board Chairperson Kristine Steuart along with two new board members Gary Bennewies and Brian Craig. In tandem with these additions, Paula Catoira former Chief of Staff for the CEO at Allocadia was named Chief Marketing Officer.

The changes in our board and the promotion of Ms. Catoira to CMO were orchestrated to capitalize on this momentum and take our businesses to the next level” says Andrew Reid, Founder and CEO of Rival Technologies.

 

In the role of CMO, Ms. Catoira is responsible for driving go-to-market strategy and execution. She will also lead the marketing team, sales development and revenue operations. Ms. Catoira joins Rival after playing an instrumental role in the success and eventual acquisition of marketing management platform Allocadia by BrandMaker; a portfolio company of Rubicon Technology Partners.

 

Ms. Catoira’s role as CMO will see her, once again, working closely with new Board Chairperson and former CEO and founder of Allocadia, Kristine Steuart. As the company’s CEO, Ms. Steuart led Allocadia from a start-up to a global organization with hundreds of customers and formed partnerships with several prominent Fortune 400 brands. Ms. Steuart was named one of the “Top 10 Women in Tech to Watch” by inc. magazine, and one of B.C.’s top 35 most influential women in business.

New additions to the board also include research industry legend, and former CEO of Ipsos Canada Gary Bennewies alongside serial entrepreneur Brian Craig. Mr. Craig has an extensive background in entrepreneurial technology and venture capital. He played a large role in guiding Solium, an employee equity management platform, to over a $100m in revenue and a $1bn exit to Morgan Stanley.
