Verve, the Artificial Intelligence, Human and Cultural understanding business, announced a new technical and product team as they prepare to launch their new tech and services platform, Verve Vero. The platform combines proprietary AI with real human insight and cultural understanding to create a complete insight ecosystem.
Jon Gumbrell, one of the original founders of Verve, is re-engaging with the business as Chief AI Architect With over 20 years of Res-Tech expertise, Jon brings invaluable insights from his extensive research industry experience, including the founding of companies such as id-factor and Platform 1.
Gumbrell is joined by Abeetha de Silva to lead Technical Development. He previously spent 10 years as Head of Software Development at Platform 1, developing cutting-edge software for market research agencies and clients. Abeetha is supported by a team of specialist developers in Sri Lanka.
Following Verve’s philosophy that Artificial Intelligence needs to be augmented by human and cultural Intelligence to triangulate and validate insight, the Vero team also includes senior representation from the broader business.
Rikki Pearce has been appointed as Executive Director, Verve Vero and Product Lead. Rikki brings extensive experience in product development for Qantas Loyalty as well as customer strategy for a range of clients. Ben McIntyre is promoted to Senior Product Manager,
Verve Vero with a remit to support the technical development and operationalization of the platform.
They are joined by Kelly McKnight as Executive Director, Verve Vero and Proposition & Marketing Lead. Kelly brings extensive insights and cultural intelligence experience to oversee the development of the platform offer and marketing.
Working alongside her is Richard Preedy who takes on the position of Executive Director, Verve Vero, responsible for leading Client Success. In so doing continues to provide clients with the benefits of better and faster insights, which the Verve Vero platform underpins.
Gav Holt takes on the role of Executive Director, Verve Vero to lead Customer Centricity and Innovation propositions which are integrated into the platform.
Aishwarya Pradhan joins Verve Vero in Toronto following previous roles at Mastercard and IPSOS, and assumes the role as Associate Director, working as part of the Vero team to support sales in North America.
Heading up the new business unit is Verve CEO and Founder, Andrew Cooper, who comments: “AI not only for efficiency, but for better insights, sits at the very heart of our business and requires us to change almost every aspect of what we do.
