CIRQ Announces Recertification of EurekaFacts to ISO 20252 Standard

CIRQ, an accredited International Standards Organization (ISO) audit and certification body that is a subsidiary of the Insights Association, has announced that EurekaFacts has been recertified to the ISO 20252:2019 Standard—Market, opinion and social research, including insights and data analytics.

ISO 20252 addresses market research stakeholder needs and includes data practices, ethical requirements, and clauses on data management security that align with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). ISO 20252:2019 establishes globally recognized terms, definitions, and service requirements for project management in research organizations. Processes outlined in ISO 20252:2019 are designed to produce transparent, consistent, well-documented, and error-free methods of conducting and managing research projects. EurekaFacts was originally certified to the ISO 20252 Standard in July of 2016. This recertification will extend to February of 2027.

Based in Rockville, MD, EurekaFacts’ applied research services include survey research, encompassing all forms of data collection methods and modes (e.g., paper, online, telephonic, in-person focus groups, stakeholder meetings, and structured/semi-structured interviews); analytics support including descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, data modeling, predictive analytics, computational data-mining, data visualization and GIS/data mapping; marketing research in support of strategic communications and media placement/purchasing analysis; customer experience research, including needs assessments, satisfaction scoring, and customer journey mapping; human factors research encompassing person-centered design, usability/user experience evaluations and cognitive lab testing, and; field data collection services, including focus group facilities, participant recruitment and interviewing in multiple languages and among hard-to-reach populations.

EurekaFacts CEO Jorge Restrepo commented, “Our continued ISO certification is an important assurance for our clients and all their stakeholders. Anchoring all our research activity on the ISO quality standard helps our clients confidently use our research findings to make important decisions and base strategy and tactics on solid foundation. It also provides a roadmap for our teams to deliver consistently superior research, and it lets our research participants know we represent their voices with integrity and protect their privacy and confidentiality.”
