Insights Association and Full Circle Research Help Expand MRII Diversity Award Package

The Market Research Institute International (MRII) announced that its MRII Diversity Award will now include registration for the Insights Association’s Corporate Researchers Conference (CRC), as well as a travel and lodging stipend for awardees to attend the event. These increased benefits were made possible through the support of the Insights Association and an increased sponsorship from Full Circle Research.

“Our initial offering included the cost of a Principles Express course, presented by MRII and University of Georgia,” said Ed Keller, MRII Executive Director. “While exciting on its own, the ability to add attendance to CRC—one of the leading insights events of the year—marries our online learning experience with the benefits of in-person educational and networking opportunities. This pairing can have a significant impact on our awardees’ professional trajectories, and, in turn, our industry as a whole.”

Insights Association CEO, Melanie Courtright added, “Increasing opportunities for DEI is critical to the insights industry’s growth and stability, and a top priority for our entire organization. We did not hesitate to offer our support when MRII asked and applaud its innovative solutions to diversifying our talent pool.”

CRC, being held this year on November 1-3 in Chicago, draws hundreds of leaders and research practitioners from research agencies and brands large and small across all industry verticals, as well as nonprofits. This year’s conference theme is Driving Growth in Turbulent Times and will highlight insights’ essential role in supporting organizations through turbulence—be it economic, geopolitical, environmental, or social—to maintain and ignite growth. At this event, MRII Diversity Award recipients will learn from and connect with our industry’s most respected innovators and decision-makers, while serving as ambassadors and inspiration for future MRII Diversity Award applicants.

“MRII’s Diversity Award exists to remove barriers to excelling in the market research industry,” said Adam Weinstein, Co-CEO at Full Circle Research. “When Insights Association generously offered CRC registration for recipients, we realized that travel and lodging costs could preclude attendance. It is our hope that our increase in sponsorship encourages winners to take advantage of this incredible opportunity for personal and professional growth.”

Nominations are now being accepted for MRII’s Fall 2023 Diversity Awards program. Applications close October 31, 2023. To apply, click here.
