Market research and strategic consulting firm Smarty Pants announced that Brian Cash has joined the organization as an “Insights Know-It-All.”
Cash supports the company’s flagship gaming, entertainment, and tech clients from research project design to implementation to synthesis of findings.
He excels at authoring data-driven stories and socializing results to maximize business impact. Cash brings 10 years of quantitative research expertise to Smarty Pants. He most recently served as senior research manager at Material+, where he led primary research across leading tech and gaming clients such as DoorDash, PlayStation, and Intuit. Prior, he was a senior analyst at TrendSource leading research for the nation’s leading grocery chains.

Cash graduated summa cum laude from the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. He was awarded a Cornell University Fellowship to continue his graduate education at the University, where he earned a master’s degree in developmental psychology and co-published five articles. He is based in San Diego, California.
