The strength of the Insights Association comes from the people who guide and serve it. Our leadership team—comprising the Board of Directors and professional staff—brings together diverse expertise from across the insights and analytics industry. Together, they set the Association’s strategic direction, advocate for our members, and work every day to protect, connect, and empower the community we serve.

Wire Launches New Brand Identity

After nearly two decades as Women in Research (WIRe), the organization announced its rebrand as Wire, unveiling a new name, visual identity, and digital presence that reflect where the community — and the industry it serves — has actually arrived.

Wire’s community of 23,000+ professionals spans far beyond market research. Data scientists, insights leaders, CX and UX practitioners, analytics executives, and strategists working at the intersection of data and decision-making all call this community home. The former name, while meaningful, no longer captured the full picture of who shows up or what they do. The rebrand corrects that.

“When we founded Women in Research nearly two decades ago, market research defined our industry. Today, that frame no longer captures the full picture of who we are. The people in this community are shaping how organizations understand their customers and markets through data science, insights, analytics, CX, UX — and disciplines we didn’t even have names for when we started. Wire is the thread connecting this diverse, global community: a symbol of the connectivity, innovation, and ambition that defines us today,” said Kristin Luck, Founder, of Wire.

Wire partnered with Dublin-based design and branding firm Zero-G over the past year to develop the new identity, which launches today alongside a redesigned website and updated presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. The updated visual system is designed to signal forward momentum while honoring the organization’s 19-year legacy.

Jessica Sage, Executive Director, Wire, commented, “We recognize that Women in Research holds deep personal significance for many in our community. This rebrand isn’t about erasing that legacy — it’s about expanding our table and inviting both new and longtime supporters to see themselves fully reflected in who we are and what we stand for. We’re energized by the opportunity to grow our impact and inspire the next generation of women leaders across data and analytics.”

The rebrand reflects the input and support of Wire’s broader community. The organization extends particular thanks to advisory board members Tiama Hanson-Drury and Alex Owens for their extensive guidance throughout the process, as well as to the donors, sponsors, corporate partners, event leads, and thousands of community supporters who advance the mission every day.

Wire’s core mission remains unchanged: to close the leadership gap for women in data-driven disciplines by providing mentorship, resources, networking, and community at every stage of a career. What changes is the scope — and the signal that women working anywhere in the data and insights ecosystem belong here.
