Pittsburgh, PA-based Schmidt Market Research has released its Woman and Wealth Report, a market feedback report that is part of their Annual WealthMark™ Study.
According to Kevin Srigley, President of Schmidt, “We’ve all heard for years that women control the majority of wealth in the US… but what has not been discussed is how they manage that wealth and how they interact with their advisors. We address these topics and many others in this report which is part of our annual WealthMark™ study of high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).”
“A few of the more interesting findings are that about a third of women invest in real estate and half consider their portfolio to be ‘conservative.’ In fact, more than 85% of women invest with long-term stability in mind – rather than short-term gains – and over half see their portfolio as a legacy for their family.”
