Sago (formerly Schlesinger Group), a leading provider of adaptive, tech-enabled research solutions and platforms, announced two key leadership appointments to further its digital transformation. Steve Mast (pictured at left) has been named Chief Product Officer and Carlo Marcelino (right) has been appointed Chief Technology Officer.
“At Sago, we have not been quiet in our drive towards creating products and platforms that make research easily accessible for our clients and consumers,” states CEO, Reed Cundiff. “We have a collection of the leading digital products and are excited to elevate these two innovative leaders,” continued Cundiff. “Their expertise and experience are invaluable as we continue to drive product and technology innovation and deliver amazing customer experiences.”
Mast, previously EVP, Market Innovation & Commercialization at Sago, is now responsible for developing and executing a product vision that meets customer needs and drives business growth. “This is an exciting time in a world where products and technology are better together,” states Mast. “This is an opportunity for unification of our products to create a seamless research journey for our customers and employees, and Sago couldn’t be more prepared for the challenge under Carlo’s guidance.”
As Chief Technology Officer, Marcelino brings a fresh perspective to the industry and is focused on creating efficiencies to improve the customer experience and providing a seamless research experience for participants, researchers, and clients to access Sago’s powerful mix of qualitative and quantitative technology.
These elevations are a part of Sago’s larger strategy to be a leading, tech-enabled business and they will help the company achieve marketplace differentiation and prioritize key initiatives.
