Research Defender Promotes Two and Adds One

Research Defender has announced the promotion of two longtime employees and the expansion of its team.

Originally joining in 2019, Teal Canady (pictured left) has been promoted to VP of Technology. Having spent the past 15 years in the marketing research industry, Teal has worked at ISA, LRW, OTX and most recently Lucid, where he was a principal data engineer.

Dan Fletcher (pictured center) has also been promoted to VP of Operations, responsible for all aspects of project management, integration and finances. Dan joined Research Defender in 2020 after more than 7 years in various senior customer-facing and operations roles at Lucid. Dan has an MBA from Tulane University.

Josh Roberts (pictured right) has joined the company as an operations analyst. Having recently completed his MBA from Louisiana State University with a certificate in data analytics, Josh was most recently an analyst at a nonprofit serving those with mental illness.

Vignesh Krishnan, Research Defender’s Founder & CEO remarks, “Continuing on our mission to provide the best technology in the industry to combat fraudulent respondents and responses in online research, it starts with the best people and these promotions and new hire are just the next step in our growth.”

As an independent technology provider that actively builds APIs to benefit both sample buyers and sellers (without also selling sample) Research Defender has developed a suite of products that prevent sample fraud and duplication, exclude professional survey respondents, analyze open-ended responses in real-time for various negative attributes and can even prevent known bad actors from joining a panel from the outset.
