The Certification Institute for Research Quality (CIRQ), a subsidiary of the Insights Association, announces the successful completion of two reaccreditation assessments conducted by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) – reaffirming CIRQ’s continued excellence and leadership in data quality and information security standards for the research and insights industry.
In September 2025, CIRQ underwent its third-cycle reaccreditation assessment to ISO/IEC 17065:2012, the international standard for certification bodies certifying products, processes, and services. The purpose of this rigorous assessment was to evaluate the adequacy of CIRQ’s documented management system and its implementation to ensure ongoing conformance to the assessment criteria and applicable ANAB policies and procedures.
This milestone marks the sixth consecutive year that CIRQ’s ISO 20252 audit and certification program has maintained uninterrupted accreditation – an achievement reflecting both operational consistency and dedication to data quality excellence across the research industry.
In mid-October 2025, CIRQ achieved five-year reaccreditation to ISO/IEC 17021-1:2025 and ISO/IEC 27006-1:2024 for its ISO 27001:2022 information security management certification program. The ANAB assessor rated CIRQ as excellent in key operational areas, including:
• Commitment to the ANAB accreditation process
• Support of the assessment process
• ISO 27001 auditor performance monitoring
• Detailed audit reporting and management reviews
Both reaccreditation assessments concluded with zero nonconformities, underscoring CIRQ’s reputation as a trusted, impartial certification body committed to advancing global standards for data integrity, security, and governance. CIRQ’s dual accreditation information and proof of certification are available upon request.
“These back-to-back reaccreditations came at one of the busiest times of our year, but the results speak for themselves – zero nonconformities across two demanding assessments,” said Juliana Wood, Managing Director of CIRQ. “I’m incredibly proud of our team and their commitment to excellence. These achievements highlight CIRQ’s dedication to conducting rigorous, impartial audits and our commitment to quality, transparency, and continual improvement.”
“CIRQ’s dual reaccreditation with zero nonconformities is more than a procedural success. Under Juliana’s leadership, it’s a reflection of our unwavering commitment to integrity and excellence in certification,” said Alexandrine de Montera, Chair of the CIRQ Board of Directors. “In an era where data quality and security define the credibility of our entire industry, CIRQ continues to set the standard for rigor, transparency, and trust.”
These achievements reflect CIRQ’s mission to uphold the highest standards of data quality and data security in the insights and analytics sector –foundational pillars for protecting consumer trust, ensuring compliance, and enhancing the credibility of research results in a rapidly evolving data environment.
