The Insights Association kicked off 2022 with an all-new Chapter Network – consisting of six Chapters covering all 50 states and providing events in more than 35 metro areas.
The Association also operates a seventh Chapter in Canada.
The goal of the reorganization is to provide a more consistent and valuable local experience for all, explained IA's CEO Melanie Courtright. It also allows for better alignment to the national IA calendar of activities, and more resources for chapter leaders.
The new Chapters and the states they cover:
- North Atlantic – Covering MA, ME, NH, RI, VT
- Central Atlantic – CT, DE, NJ, NY, PA (Central/East)
- South Atlantic – AL, AR, DC, FL, GA, LA, MD, MS, NC, PR, SC, TN, VA

Each Chapter has its own Board, consisting of the following positions: President (one-year term); President Elect (one-year term); Secretary (two-year term); Treasurer (two-year term); Treasurer Elect (one-year term in second year of Treasurer’s term); Directors at Large (two-year terms).
"Reorganizing operations that have existed for decades and span the entire nation is an enormous task," Courtright noted. "We appreciate the hard work of the leaders within each region – they put the interests of our members first as they accomplished this significant achievement."
The Presidents of the new Chapters are:

Courtright added, "I want to commend Alice Butler, Senior Vice President at M/A/R/C Research and an IA National Board Director who chairs IA’s Chapter Committee, and Hilary Fischer, Organon’s Director, Compliance & Operations, Commercial Insights & Analytics, for their leadership, wise counsel, and attention to detail throughout this process."
