Insights Career Network Appoints 2024 Executive Committee Leads

Insights Career Network (ICN), a community support network that helps insights and research professionals in career transitions, has announced the appointment of its new committee leads:
 

• Vice President of Member Services: Melissa Barrow, senior insights professional formerly from Trusage, 7-11, and GameStop

• Vice President of Marketing: Kelvin Claveria, Director of Demand Generation at Rival Technologies and Reach3 Insights

• Vice President of Research on Research: Kahren Kersten, an independent consultant

• Vice President of Education & Events: Melanie Solka, Head of Product Marketing, Sam's Club Member Access Platform (MAP) at Sam’s Club

 

In these newly created roles, the committee leads will take the helm in day-to-day operations and help elevate the organization’s mission.

 

Providing guidance and advice to the executive committee leads are the 2023 Executive Directors:

• Brian Fowler, Business Strategy Consultant at Brain Flower Services

• Doug Keith, Founder of Future Research Consulting

• Maya Kantak, Lead Market Research & Products Insights at ZipRecruiter

• Justin T. Hawkins, Senior Consumer Insights Manager at Kimberly-Clark

 

“We’re really excited to welcome our new exec committee leads,” says Brian Fowler, Business Strategy Consultant at Brain Flower Services and one of the co-founders of ICN. “Each new volunteer leader has a genuine interest in leveraging their special skills to help researchers and insights professionals find their voice and their way through career transitions. I’m looking forward to seeing them create their committees and build on what we’ve created so far.”

 

Created in January 2022, ICN is a growing community of job seekers and allies in the insights industry. The organization has three focus areas: providing community resources, facilitating networking, and providing research and best practices to navigate the job search. Today, ICN has more than 1,600 members and more than 10,000 followers on LinkedIn.
