Decision Analyst Inc. recently named Bonnie Janzen as its president, a position previously held by founder Jerry W. Thomas, who will continue to serve as chief executive officer.
Janzen began her career at a management consulting firm in Dallas, and then moved to Decision Analyst, where she rose from vice president to senior vice president, executive vice president and now president.
Janzen grew up on a ranch in Northeast Oklahoma near Adair. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics from Oklahoma State University. Janzen has helped companies around the world with high-level strategic research and consulting, focusing on retail, consumer packaged goods, health and wellness, restaurant, and home improvement industries.
“It has been my absolute pleasure to work with many brilliant colleagues and clients over the years,’’ Janzen said. “I’m excited about this opportunity and looking forward to collaborating with our team at Decision Analyst to help our clients continue to grow their businesses.’’
In addition to being active in various marketing research associations, Janzen for many years has helped raise funds for children’s health organizations and private initiatives. They include Children’s Health in Dallas and the Chip Moody Classic golf tournament, named after the former Dallas Channel 8 news anchor. She also has been involved in raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
“Bonnie is one of the hardest workers I know,’ Thomas said. “She is energetically dedicated to her clients and exhibits a rare “spirit of service and caring” to help client companies achieve their full potential.”
