The membership of the Insights Association has approved the following individuals to serve two-year terms on IA’s Board of Directors, beginning January 1, 2023: Michelle Gansle, VP, Global Insights & Analytics, McDonald's; Jing Mertoglu, Global VP Insights and Analytics, Beam Suntory; and Tchicaya Ellis Robertson, Global Talent Research Lead, Accenture (pictured from left to right). In addition, IA members approved the transition of Ashlin Quirk, General Counsel and Privacy Officer at Dynata, from an Ex-Officio position to a Director with voting power.
The terms of outgoing Directors Dave Carruthers, former CEO of Voxpopme, and Jon DeLord, President of VenSights, will end on December 31, 2022. The Insights Association Board and staff thank them for generously volunteering their time and providing astute guidance and assistance with many important initiatives.

At Insights Association, Board Directors are nominated via a call for candidates from the Nominating Committee. They are chosen by the Board based on their experience and IA’s strategic goals and approved by the membership using an online approve/do not approve vote.
Board Directors are charged with representing the interests of the membership, encouraging participation in the programs established by the Board, and undertaking strategic and long-term planning for the Association.
About the Author
Art oversees communications initiatives that promote and support the Insights Association’s various initiatives, including events and a multitude of member benefits and programs. With a team of experienced colleagues, Art manages the association’s website, publications, directories and social media. He assists with curation of content featured in events, webinars and in publications. Art has worked in communications for more than two decades. He began his career as a journalist, writing for newspapers and business magazines. Later, he moved into corporate communications. Art served as Director of Marketing at Hostcentric, Inc., a $60-million-dollar web services company, Manager of Communications & Publications at Bennington College in Vermont, Executive Director of Communications at Dowling College and from 2007-2016 served as VP, Communications for CASRO. He is a graduate of Siena College.
