M/A/R/C® Research announced the appointment of Stacey Bell as Vice
President of Insights & Strategies in its Regulated Sciences practice. With more than 20 years of experience in public health and regulatory science, Stacey brings a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and scientific rigor to the organization’s expanding regulated sciences portfolio.
Stacey has led numerous high‐impact studies for both federal agencies and commercial clients, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and international tobacco and nicotine companies. Her work has played a critical
role in regulatory submissions and public health policy, particularly in the areas of post‐market surveillance (PMSS) and actual use studies (AUS).
Among her many accomplishments, Stacey played a pivotal role in the design and launch of a nationwide study of youth and young adults to evaluate underage awareness and use of FDA‐authorized tobacco and nicotine products, leading multiple waves of the study. She has also overseen large‐scale, multimodal data
collection efforts, ensuring scientific integrity and compliance across complex research environments.

In addition to her research leadership, Stacey has contributed to the scientific community through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at leading conferences such as the Tobacco Science and Research Conference (TSRC) and CORESTA. She has served on an Institutional Review Board (IRB) and held elected
positions with the Southern Association of Public Opinion Research (SAPOR), further demonstrating her commitment to ethical and impactful research. Stacey holds an MA in Sociology from North Carolina Central University and a BA in Professional Writing from Western Carolina University.
