EyeSee Launches AI-Driven Predictive Eye Tracking

Behavioral research company EyeSee has unveiled a new AI-powered Predictive Eye Tracking method, extending its portfolio and solidifying its position at the forefront of behavioral research.

Trained on over 11.5 million eye-gaze data points, the method delivers unparalleled accuracy in predicting visibility and attention metrics for packaging and other visual elements. This breakthrough technology enables brands to assess early-stage designs quickly and cost-effectively, generating AI Visibility and AI Attention metrics alongside predictive heatmaps.

Predictive Eye Tracking is used alongside complementary methods such as MaxDiff analysis, surveys, and click tracking, forming a unique combination exclusively deployed in Pack Screenings and Health Pack Checks. For deeper innovation testing, EyeSee continues to rely on human based Eye Tracking to ensure robust insights at every stage.

By combining the efficiency of AI with EyeSee's established behavioral insights expertise, the solution enhances speed without compromising reliability. EyeSee’s CEO Joris De Bruyne stated: “Human based Eye Tracking remains the cornerstone of our research, but this new addition allows us to offer fast, scalable solutions for initial design evaluations.”

The Predictive Eye Tracking tool is part of EyeSee's broader strategy to incorporate AI responsibly and effectively, ensuring transparency and reliability in its applications. Unlike standard saliency (based on shape, colors, contrast, …) models, EyeSee’s AI models are trained using real-world behavioral data, bridging the gap between AI's capabilities and actual consumer behavior.
