We are excited to announce our first event of the year – a lunch-included short course on Wednesday, October 7th at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles from 12:30 to 3:00 PM. Lunch & networking from 12:30 to 1:15, with the seminar beginning thereafter. This event is a joint effort between SoCal MRA and PAPOR – the Pacific chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research.
The topic is “Legal Considerations of Public Opinion Polling and Survey Research,” with speaker Stuart Pardau, General Counsel of the MRA. For those of you who have seen Stuart speak in the past, you know he is dynamic and well-informed, and delivers hard-hitting, up-to-date information you can use immediately. Stuart will cover a number of critical issues impacting the research industry, including:
- TCPA, along with all the recent regulations/changes
- Push polls
- Trademark considerations
Tickets are just $45 for members and include lunch and parking (normally $10). Students attend for just $30.
For those who cannot attend in person, there will be a live webinar of the event for the same price (discount available for company-wide webinar viewing). Sign up for the webinar using the same registration link.
