      Presenters will discuss:

    • What a Short, Strange Trip It's Been

      Thu. September 27, 2018
      9:30 AM to 10:00 AM

The meteoric rise of video insight platform Voxpopme has made headlines as it helps brands see the people behind the data, driving customer-centric decisions through agile, engaging video research. Turns out that video often is worth more than a thousand words.

What makes this entreprenurial success unique is the fact CEO Dave Carruthers had zero experience in the industry when he founded the company just six years ago.

From Dave, we'll get the unfiltered version of the company's journey, including many dips on the roller coaster ride that preceded the recent success, and have the opportunity to learn from his good decisions, and those less so.

Join us as Dave talks about culture, scaling, leadership and forging strategic partnerships – has anyone signed more during the past year? – and other revealing insights into his team's success.

    • What Do Clients Really Want?

      Thu. September 27, 2018
      10:00 AM to 11:15 AM

Dealing with clients was highlighted as one of the top ten challenges facing market research in a recent GRIT report.

Respondents shared that clients expect insights far too quickly and are demanding low-cost, scalable solutions to traditional approaches. The argument is that they aren’t skilled enough to understand the trade-offs between quality and speed.

But what do cutting edge clients really want from their agencies? And why?

This session is designed to pull back the curtain on the pressures facing corporate research departments and how this translates into demands on research suppliers.

Ultimately, the solution to this challenge is to determine how we can work together to remain relevant and thrive today and in the future.
