Sklar Wilton & Associates, a Canadian research and marketing consultancy, was named a Best Workplace for Women by the Great Place To Work Institute and placed 11th in Canada as a Best Workplaces - Fewer than 100 Employees. This award builds on exceptional wins in 2017 for both the Best Workplace in Canada for Small Companies as well the Best Workplace for Celebrating Success. The awards ceremony was held in Toronto on April 25.

This is the second year in a row that Sklar Wilton & Associates has been certified as a Great Place to Work and the second time they have received special recognition from the Great Place to Work® Institute. The GPTW program recognizes a company’s ongoing commitment to creating and growing a positive workplace culture through the development of high-trust workplace cultures. Certification is given to organizations whose employees confirm through detailed feedback that the organization consistently demonstrates the behaviours of a great workplace, meaning they trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with.

To be recognized as a Great Workplace for Women, organizations must have at least 15 female employees and a minimum of 90% of both men and women must indicate that they are treated fairly regardless of their sex.
