ROCKY HILL, CT – New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani has declared the week of June 4-8 2001 as “Opinion and Marketing Research Week” in the City of New York.

The declaration is to coincide with the Marketing Research Association’s 43rd Annual Conference, held that week at the Marriott Marquis Hotel located at 1535 Broadway.

The official proclamation will be presented at the Conference’s Opening General Session on Thursday, June 7. Representatives from other major industry associations will be on hand to receive this honor.

The MRA Annual Conference is a three-day event that provides participants with educational and networking opportunities. MRA holds two national conferences a year, the Annual Conference held in June and the Fall Education Conference (FEC) and Technology Forum held in November. This Fall, the FEC will be held in New Orleans, LA from October 31 – November 2, 2001 at the Inter-Continental Hotel.
