Smarty Pants market research and consulting firm announced that it has added Singapore-based Emily Contino to its growing talent roster.

Contino enters the organization as a quantitative research manager guiding the consumer and shopper insights efforts of Smarty Pants’ core retail clients. She joins Smarty Pants after 12 years at PRS IN VIVO.

Her career at the shopper insightsbased firm began as an analyst in New Jersey and concluded as a senior director covering Asia Pacific. Along the way, she helped launch offices and run operations in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to PRS IN VIVO, Contino worked at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), spent time as a high school Spanish teacher, and worked with the Dean of Students at the University of Texas.

Contino was also a graduate assistant at Arizona State University, where she earned her MBA with specializations in international business and strategic marketing. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Studies from The College of William & Mary.

Later in 2021, Contino will relocate to Phoenix, AZ, to support Smarty Pants’ domestic businesses.
