CIRQ, an International Standards Organization (ISO) audit and certification body that is a subsidiary of the Insights Association, has announced that Reason Research has been recertified to the ISO 20252:2019 Standard—Market, opinion and social research, including insights and data analytics.

This marks the first CIRQ-certified company to have gained initial certification under the previous ISO 20252 framework and be recertified under the new standard. ISO 20252 was updated and streamlined in 2019 to be more relevant to current market research stakeholder needs and include new data practices, ethical requirements, and additional updated clauses on data management security that align with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). ISO 20252 establishes globally recognized terms, definitions, and service requirements for project management in research organizations. Processes outlined in ISO 20252 are designed to produce transparent, consistent, well-documented and error-free methods of conducting and managing research projects.

“In line with our mission to be our healthcare clients’ first choice for custom market research, we are delighted to be the first company recertified with CIRQ to the new ISO standard. Adherence to ISO 20252:2019 gives us the firm footing to deliver on our mission and confidence that our team can use our quality management system to ensure healthcare companies obtain the market research insights they need,” says Gary White, CEO.
