Information Security (ISO 27001)

ISO 27001 provides a framework for companies to manage their data security. It establishes requirements for information controls to manage people, processes and technology, and protect valuable company data.

ISO 27001 implementation and certification provides your company with a strategic information security framework that can help you win business and educate your staff on key measures for protecting your valuable data.

The Insights Association has embraced this standard as the recommended option for research and analytics companies to use as a framework to implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Role of the Insights Association in ISO

The Insights Association has developed educational and informational services relating to ISO 20252, 26362 and 27001 to support research businesses that wish to pursue certification. These services include templates, documents, guidelines, audit preparation tools and training webinars, and other guidance for developing internal corporate quality programs.

CIRQ, a subsidiary of the Insights Association, is a certification body which provides auditing and certification services globally to market research firms in order to assess their compliance with these ISO standards. It is the only established certification body in the U.S. to provide these services.
