To improve the experience of conference attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors, the Insights Association has named Rebekah McWain Director, Events.

“Our events are a key touch point with members and our most successful way to recruit new members. Our goal is to provide a memorable, exhilarating experience at each event for every attendee. Rebekah’s skill, drive, and experience will help ensure that our events provide an exceptional experience to all attendees,” commented Melanie Courtright, CEO of the Insights Association. “I’m thrilled to welcome her to our team.”

As Director, Events, Rebekah is responsible for managing the execution of IA conferences and events (both in-person and virtual) with a focus on creating a superb experience for attendees while streamlining internal processes to maximize attendee and sponsor satisfaction; and increase retention and growth.

Rebekah gained experience in all aspects of event planning at the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM), where she served as Director of Business Development and later took on the additional role of Program Planning Lead. Previously, Rebekah served as Sales and Marketing Manager for the National Correctional Industries Association (NCIA) before being promoted to Associate Director of Events and National Sales. A graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Rebekah has earned Certified Meeting Planner and Sustainable Event Planner credentials from the Events Industry Council. She was honored as a Trailblazer by Smart Women in Meetings and to the Connect Association’s 40 Under 40 list.
