M/A/R/C® Research, an insights and strategies consulting firm, announce that Michael Feehan has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Practice Leader, providing additional expertise and value to the company’s newly expanded Health and Well-Being Division.

CEO Merrill Dubrow said the company is excited to expand M/A/R/C’s ability to provide insights to the healthcare industry with Michael’s extensive knowledge and leadership. “Michael is a force in the industry, and we are beyond thrilled that our clients are going to benefit from his vision and vast understanding of both health-related and regulatory research, which will enable them to grow their brands and business.”

A former clinical psychologist, professor, and CEO, Michael brings considerable industry expertise, including extensive research in public health and marketing science. Most recently, he served as Principal of Clinical Real-World Evidence at Oracle Life Sciences, where he designed and led strategic U.S. and global research engagements for leading life science clients, with a focus on FDA regulatory approval. His deep background in health-related research encompasses both best-in-class advanced quantitative analytic approaches and qualitative interpretation.

“I am looking forward to working with my new M/A/R/C and Horowitz colleagues to generate insights that drive client growth and success through empowering positive life functioning,” Michael said. “Across any industry vertical, a powerful competitive differentiator is the effective positioning of innovative products in ways that reinforce their value to advance human health and well-being across diverse populations.”

Michael began his career as a clinical psychologist in his native New Zealand before turning his focus toward research, where his roles have included Senior Vice President of research firm The Modellers LLC; Managing Partner in the Brand Strategy Domain at Kantar, where he conducted strategic global qualitative and quantitative research for leading brands across all stages of the product lifecycle; and founder and CEO of Observant LLC, which provided insights to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and encompassed research with physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other health professionals, managed care executives, patients and caregivers, and the sales forces of client firms. His impressive background also includes several university faculty teaching and research roles exploring the social determinants of health, including the University at Buffalo, University of Utah, Harvard Medical School, and the Auckland University of Technology. In addition, he has over 100 published works on public health and marketing science.
